I thought it might be a good idea to have several work days at the studio this week. So if Joe could post times that he would be available to meet at the nth I think that would be helpful. personally I got snagged doing stats at the house I would have much rather been at the studio today. Machines for Washing

Hey guys, I dropped by the thrift store today and picked up 10 or 11 sheets but I don't have a way to wash them. Would anyone have time or the ability to wash them (preferably before class tomorrow)?

Also, I got 100 or so balloons but couldn't find string to attach to the bottom of the balloons if we decide to do that or for stringing the sheets of the fort up...Maybe if someone already has strings they could bring them along?

Feathers

So feathers are an odd obsession of mine and I found these paper feathers that are somewhat whimsical that I thought would be an interesting idea for the fort. I know feathers were mentioned on Monday and I would be happy to play around with these! Thought it might be more interesting than purchasing feathers from the craft store. Let me know what you think!

Alright:
A big thanks to Zach for getting a flyer together! Zach's post and flyer images are a few post below this one. Lets all comment on if we think that it is the right one. We can always tweek it a bit, change font, etc. This too is a collaborative process. We gotta settle on this A.S.A.P!

Keep looking for stuff for the show. Bring whatever you can think of on Wed. to the gallery and everyday after that leading up to the opening.

Let me know if there are any issues/questions.

Yo, Its The Flyer

Okay, so here is the flyer that I came up with using all of the things that Joe and/or the gallery requested. The one with all of our names on it is for the flyer and the simple version is for the 5x7 postcards to send out to people.

these are definitely legit miniature buildings. a little complex, but if we still wanted to incorporate them i would definitely be willing to try.

This might be the epitome of creepy sounds. And there are others to choose from if we decided to have them in the background...

Also, I was thinking it could be neat to draw on the floor with chalk like there is a game of hop-scotch right when people walk in. That way they would have a pretty good grasp on the concept of the show and could follow the numbers wherever they're supposed to lead to.
